The production process of our frame starts with a sheet metal forming technique called deep drawing. The deep drawing press applies a tremendous amount of pressure to press a flat sheet of metal into a desired shape.
In our case, two flat sheets of 7000 grade aluminium are pressed into shape and form the two halves that make up our bicycle frame.
In the next step the halves are moved to the 3d laser cutter.
Here, any excess material is cut off.
In the final step, a laser welder welds the two halves together. Forming a strong and lightweight aluminium frame.
